About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

UK national visa for China in Hanoi

I am planing a trip to Hanoi in two week's time and wish to fly on to Shanghai to visit a friend. Can I obtain a visitor visa for China in Hanoi?

I suggest you apply for it in UK before you go to Hanoi. Those who apply outside of their countries must provide the legal status such as the employment or studying resident permits in the third country. If you fail to get one in Hanoi, your trip to Shanghai will be destroyed.
