About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Can I take perfume purchased in LA through Guangzhou to Australia

I am transiting through GZ and was wondering if I could take duty free items such as perfume and cosmetics on to my transit flight to Melbourne?

If you just make a transfer in the airport without entering that city, the duty is not needed to pay.
If you want to enter the city, you need to pay attention to the amount of perfume. If you only take a few for your own use, it is not necessary pay the tax. If the total price is over 5000RMB, you need to pay the tax.
