Planning a 1day tour in Shenzhen

Hi,

Thank you for this informative website, I am able to see and plan my upcoming trip here. However there are still some questions I need to ask to finalize my plan.

1. Will I be able to cover all the places in one day? (Splendid China, China Folk Culture Village, Window of the World, Happy Valley, OCT-East, SZ Safari Park, and Xiaomeisha Sea World)

Based on what I understand, OCT-East will take 1-2days to tour?

2. Will the parks and establishments be open in Chinese New Year and the day before it (Jan30 & Jan31 2014)?

3. I might be in Shenzhen until night, I wanna know if there are still transportation back to Hong Kong at night and until what time are the transpo available?

4. What are the shows in Window of the World?

5. What is the night ticket in Happy Valley for? Is this for a show?

6. What are the evening shows in OCT-East? Is this different from the Aqua Show? I saw in tripadvisor.com the OCT Bay Water Show and the photos show that it is held in the evening. Is this the Aqua show or the Evening Show?

Please advise.

Thanks a lot in advance :)

It is impossible to cover all these places in one day. Only the OCT- East will cost you about one to two days. The WOW and the Splendid China need about at least one day. The Xiaomasha needs about one day. I only cover these places and they are my experience.
The parks will open during the Chinese New Year, so please do not worry.
Huanggang Port is available 24 hours, so you can use this port to HK. Where do you start from SZ for HK?
There are several shows in the WOW, such as the Japenese and East Aisan dances. Besides, there are themed shows in the park when festival comes.
The night ticket for the Happy Valley is around 80RMB per adult. For the show, there is no show at night and the last show is at around 19:00.
When I was there, there is no show at night, but I am not sure the current situation. It is suggested to consult the park staff for asking more exact time when you are there.
