About:China Student Visa

I have a X1 that will expire on 15th of feb and I want to enter china by 30th

My school registration is feb 17th will I be able to get resident permit? Since my visa will expire before the date of my registration?

Hi, you should know that you have to apply for residence permit within 30 days after entry with your X1. If you enter too early, time left will not enough to apply for this permit. In your case, if you enter January 30th, but you have to apply for residence permit after registration on Feb 17th because the school will not be open until then. That is to say there is only 11 days left for processing of your residence permit. It may not be enough to do so. I strongly advise you to enter later, for example, on 15th Feb.
