About:China Transit Visa

I am a NZr transiting through Shanghai and there are 76 hours between my flights in and out.

Will I need to get a visa even though I am just four hours over the 72 hour free period and will spend that four hours at the airport anyway? Thanks

I am afraid you need to apply for a transit G in advance for this visit. Because the airline may refuse you to board the plane if they check out that the time between scheduled landing and departure is longer than 72 hours.
