Can a same gender couple adopt a Chinese Baby?

My partner & I live in China, are both working professionals & have a legal document from my native country stating that we are in a Civil Union Relationship which we can change to be legally married. Are we able to adopt a Chinese baby together? If not, then is it possible to adopt as an individual?
