About:Chinese Consulate in San Francisco

Using a consulate not in my state region

I live in Colorado, but am traveling to San Francisco in January. Can I get a Visa at the Consulate in San Francisco? I will be traveling through Beijing in April, 2014 and would like to leave the airport for 24 hours.

I am afraid that you may not get it in San Francisco. The applicants should apply in the consulate in their area. If you are in a hurry, you can ask your friend or your famlies to submit your applications.
