About:Baggage Allowance for International Flights

Flying Vancouver-Beijing-Manila with Air China.

I'm a little worried about my carry-on since we're only allowed 1 piece. So does that mean I can't have a backpack or a shopping bag or purse in addition to my rollabout carry-on?

Actually, the regulation is not that strict. You can take along a backpack or purse with you (I took my laptop in hand) as the hand luggage. And check in early! Don't worry too much about that!

If you still concern about that, you may further consult your airlines.
