Residence Permit still valid?

Hi, I worked in China so got a residence permit each time for one year, so my current residence permit in my passport is valid until May 2014. However I left my job, left China and now want to return to China for a visit.

Personally, I think you can enter PRC with your current resident permit since it hasn't expired. However, you can't work with your current one. If you want to work in PRC again, you should renew your work permit and resident permit.
