About:Shantou Transportation

From Hongkong Airport to Shantou

I'll take a flight from Chiang mai to Hongkok Arrived there on 9.30am (Hongkong's time)

Acctually my final destination is Lianhuazhen in chenghai.
i want to asks you a few questions...

1. where has a bus directly go From Hongkong Airport Or Someplace near Airport to ST city or anyplace near Chenghai (From ST Bus terminal i can asks my familly to pike me up from there, if it's not too far)
and please Give me a phnoe number of the bus company ,where i can take a bus and schedule of the Bus. Hongkong - ST and also back journey (when i'm go back to Hongkong)

2. How Far From ST Bus Terminal to lianhuazhen ?

3.what is the best way u think i can go to Chenghai and arrive there as fast as possible(except by plane)

As I know, there is only one direct cross-border coach from HKIA to ST every day, leaving at 07:00, so you will miss that.

Then I suggest you take a bus to Shenzhen Luohu first. Upon arrival, go to Luohu Bus Station, where there are direct buses to ST General Bus Station. It will be around 30km from your destination then.

hello again ,

U suggest me to go From HKIA to Luohu first by bus i decide to following your suggestion. and i have more question

1. what is a bus line from HKIA to Shengshui Station ? and how much and how long from HKIA to Shengshui station by bus ?

2. can I go thru Lok Ma Chau ? Because I'll go Shenzhen north station to take the new railway train (shenzhen-xiamen) to Chaoshan station

Shengshui Station, which place do you refer to? I only know Sheung Shui Station in HK.
You can go through the Lok Ma Chau to enter SZ. Pass the Lak Ma Chau, you can reach the Futian Port where you can find the Longhua Line to reach the north railway station directly.
