chinese tourist visa in tokyo

I'm a French passport holder traveling in Japan and I would like to apply for a Chinese tourist L in Tokyo. Can I go directly to the Embassy? What document should I provide beside my passport and application form? Is it possible to get a three month tourist L? Thanks in advance.

I am afraid you have to apply through a travel agency there. The embassy does not accept individual application from foreign passport holders. For tourist L, you need also provide round-trip ticket and hotel booking. It is difficult to get a 3 month L but you can put your request in the application form.
