About:Visa Policy of China

Can you get a same day visa in-person in Houston if attending a last minute China conference?

I had airfare booked and hotel reserved. I was at the consulate and they told me that same day one is not offered. Thanks.

Yes, this is true. The embassy and consulates in USA do not provide rush service any more.
