About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

In person application

Greeting:

I am waiting for a letter of invite from a primary school in Guiyang, Guizhou. When I receive the letter do I need to be in person at the Consulate Office in Chicago to process the visa application? Or can I complete that process by paying applicable fees electronically?

Thank you for your consideration and look forward to hear from you soon.

Thanks,

-Tzianeng

Hi, you can entrust someone else to handle your application if you can not go in person. Visa can not be done online. Mail application is not acceptable as well.
