Do I need to go through customs when transferring from Pudong Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 in Shanghai?

If you make international transfer, you do not need to go through the custom in general.0

Hi, yes i know that this is generally the case. But I read that at Pudong you do need to go through customs and even collect your bag, which seems very strange indeed. I was wondering if this is still the case. Does anybody know?0

May I know whether you will transfer from international to international or from international to domestic? For different cases, it requires difference steps.0
