About:China Visa on Arrival

Do I need another CHN visa when entering Zhuhai from Zhenshen? Will China immigration look for it?

Hi,
As a citizen of the Philippines, will I need another China visa if travelling by ferry from Shenzhen to Zhuhai?
Currently, I have single entry China visa to enter Shenzhen from HK days before my Shenzhen to Zhuhai ferry.

Kevin, you were not clear enough. So, if you have a single entry Chinese visa, usual one and valid for the entire country, you can normally take a ferry from Shenzhen to Zhuhai. Both cities are located within mainland China and there are no immigration checks and border controls between them. In other words, a ferry ride from Shenzhen to Zhuhai is a pure domestic travel. However, if you obtain a Shenzhen visa on arrival (on the border between Hong Kong and mainland China), you are limited to Shenzhen city limits only. In this case, you cannot travel from Shenzhen to Zhuhai because you would be in a breach of the terms valid for Shenzhen visa. If caught, you would face a fine and deportation without any doubt. I hope the situation is now clear as far as your planned travels are concerned. Have a nice visit to China.
