You get it all wrong. The correct explanation is the following. You as Indonesian citizen are allowed to enjoy 240 hour visa free transit (not a visa because this is not a visa, but visa free transit) if the immediate points before and after mainland China are in two different countries or eligible territories (eligible territories are Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau). So, you can travel Indonesia - mainland China - Hong Kong or Indonesia - mainland China - Japan or Thailand - mainland China Indonesia. As you can see, all these examples have the immediate points before and after mainland China in two different countries or eligible territories. However, your suggested itinerary has its both immediate points in just one territory - Hong Kong. This is not eligible under 240 hour visa free transit. Also, it is not eligible to exit from Hong Kong toward mainland China by train. You can exit mainland China toward Hong Kong by train, but not the other way round! So, if you want to visit Shenzhen only, I suggest you to rely on 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival that you can obtain at Lo Wu / Luohu border crossing. It is just 130 CNY and after your stay in Shenzhen you can return back to Hong Kong by taking any border crossing and any mean of transport, high speed train included. However, if you really want to use 240 hour visa free transit, you can fly directly from Indonesia to Shenzhen and after your stay there (you are not limited to Shenzhen only, but you can also travel in other parts of China), you can take a train from Shenzhen or Guangzhou or some other city directly to Hong Kong West Kowloon station. It is important to emphasize that you will have to buy your train ticket from Shenzhen or Guangzhou to Hong Kong West Kowloon station even before you depart from Indonesia toward mainland China. Have a nice visit to China.
