About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
I'm flying from Malaysia to shanghai for 24hrs and back, what is my best option as far as visas?

If you stay less than 24 hours, you needn't apply for the transit type one.

If it is less than 24 hours, you needn't apply for any type one. If you stay longer than 24 hours, then you have to apply for a transit type.
