shanghai pudong to suzhou

Question

I'm going to SZ via Shanghai Pudong Airport next week.1. I know I can get the 'G' train from Hongqiao Airport to SZ, but is there another way I can go to SZ without having to take the airport shuttle bus from Pudong to Hongqiao?  I've heard that there is a bus from Pudong but it takes 3 hours?  If that's true I may as well go to Hongqiao as it will be quicker?2. Do I need to buy my train ticket in advance or are can I buy it at the train station just before I travel?3. Is there more than one train station in SZ?  What is the name of the train station that the 'G' train arrives at from Shanghai?4. How do I get to the train station from Pudong airport?Thank you for any help you can give me.

Yes, you are right. From Pudong airport, there is direct bus to SZ and it takes about three hours. It is no need to buy the train tickets in advance and buying at the railway station is OK. There are four railway stations in SZ and most of the G-trains will reach SZ Railway Station. From Pudong airport, you can take the local subway line 2 to reach Hongqiao Railway Station directly.
