Shanghai Pudong to Suzhou

I'm going to SZ via Shanghai Pudong Airport next week.

1. I know I can get the 'G' train from Hongqiao Airport to SZ, but is there another way I can go to SZ without having to take the airport shuttle bus from Pudong to Hongqiao? I've heard that there is a bus from Pudong but it takes 3 hours? If that's true I may as well go to Hongqiao as it will be quicker?

2. Do I need to buy my train ticket in advance or are can I buy it at the train station just before I travel?

3. Is there more than one train station in SZ? What is the name of the train station that the 'G' train arrives at from Shanghai?

4. How do I get to the train station from Pudong airport?
