About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

If the Transit Visa applies to my stay and how does the 72 hours rule work?

Hi,

I am travelling to Shanghai this November.

Flight arrives in Shanghai: 10 November 16:10 (local time)
Flight leaves Shanghai: 13 November 20:30 (local time)
Citizenship/Passport: Swiss

You need to apply for a transit G type in advance from Chinese embassy, because the stopover is longer than 72 hours in Shanghai.
