Trip on 16 - 24 jan 2014 to Beijing

Hi,

I'm going to travel to the city from 16 - 19 jan, then continue my journey to Suzhou for 2 days, and the rest are planned to Hangzhou and Shanghai. Could you advise me the suitable clothes for the trip? Will it be snow fall at that time? Could you suggest me the best spots for fashion shopping? Thanks

Yes, it may snow during your stay in BJ city, so it will be cold then. Take along your warm clothing. For attractions, you can visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and if possible, Great Wall. For your fashion shopping, it is suggested to go to Dongdan, and Wangfujing.

For your following trip in the cities of south China, it would be a a little warmer than BJ. Though, you also need to wear thick clothes to keep warm.

Attractions in Shanghai are the Bund, Nanjing Road Pedestrian, and Oriental Pearl Tower. In Hangzhou, don't miss West Lake and surroundings. If you have time, go to Mt. Putuo and Thousand Island. In Suzhou, the Classic Gardens cannot be missed.
