Chinese passport holder in Australia with student VISA, go to thailand for 1 week leisure via Macao

Dear Sir,

I am planning to go back China for holiday at end of year. and in between my holiday in Chinese, I would like to spend 1 week in thailand. I live in zhuhai, so
I am wondering if I can enter macau via zhuhai, so I can depart from macau to bangkok. I have booked a return flight from Macau to bangkok, but I do not have a pass to get me through to Macau from Zhuhai, Would you please advise? Sorry for stupid question but I wonder if I can apply the HKMACAU pass in Australia?

Thank you
Elaine

Hi, you should apply for the Entry Pass in advance when you are in Zhuhai. For mainland passport holders, they are allowed 7 days stay in Macao only if they fly to the country with residence permit. That is to say, it is ok if you fly via Macao to Australia.
