About:China Flight

International transit

I'm flying
Air China from UK -> Beijing
Air China from Beijing -> Hongkong
South China Air from Hongkong -> Wuhan

For my travel documents, I hold a chinese passport and onward tickets to my final destination and my daughters hold UK passports with Chinese VISA's. It is my understanding from the Chinese embassy that we can enter Hongkong for up to 7 days without the need for any permit and I just wanted to confirm that the airport has no specific restrictions which would effect our travel plans?

As a overseas Chinese possport holder, you should apply a Hong Kong visa as your trip is Beijing - Hong Kong - Wuhan. you can stay in Hong Kong free of visa for 7 days if your trip is Beijing - Hong Kong - UK.
As a UK passport holder, your daughter is exempt from Hong Kong visa, and no special restrictions at the airport.
