About:Chinese Paper-cut Museum

24 hr stay permit for transit

My flight is into Kumming from Bangladesh with stopover and then to shanghai with stopover. Then the final flight is from Shanghai to San Francisco. The total time spent in the two Chinese airports including flight time is 24hrs and 40 minutes before final flight to San Francisco. Is the 24hr stay permit for each airport or the total transit stay in China.

24 hour stay permit is for the total transit stay in China, so you have to apply for a transit G in advance from Chinese embassy.
