About:Nanjing Lukou International Airport

Am i able to leave nanjing airport if I am on a stopover between USA and Australia for 24 hours?

Or do I need a visa?

As your transit is 24h, it is suggested to apply for a stay permit at the airport. With that, you can get out of the airport then.
