About:Beijing Travel

A day trip to the city centre to Beijing

hi, I am Anita from Malaysia. My family and I will be arriving BJ a day earlier from our schedule tour, so we have about 20 hours to look around the city centre. Which place would you suggest and what transport that are best for us. For your information, my family consist of an elderly, a child and 4 adults. We are muslim, so where can we easily find muslim / halal food. Tq

May I ask you what is your scheduled tour? Does it in BJ?
For 20 hours in BJ, it is suggested to go to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heavens.
To reach there from the airport, you can take the airport shuttle bus line 2 to reach its terminal at Xidan. Then you can walk to reach Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. After that you can take the subway line 1 from Tiananmen East Station to reach the Dongdan Station and then change to take the subway line 5 to reach the Tiantan East Station. Get out of the station, you can see the entrance of the Temple of Heavens.
For the muslim food, there is one at No.8, Chengguan Street and it is called Changxing Restaurant and it is very close to the Tiananmen East.
