About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Australian passport to Beijing

(1) how long can we stay in Beijing using Australian passport without applying Visa if we are going to visit family members? If we do not need it, any support documents we need to provide when entering Beijing?

(2) If we do need it, which form to use, and what support documents required?

You need to apply for a Chinese visa for this visit. If your family members are working and residing in Beijing, you are able to apply for S type. Invitation letter, copies of inviter's passport and residence permit, and proof of relationship are required. Basic requirements are your passport, application form and photo. If you are going to apply after Sept.1, you should fill the 2013 version of application form.
