Do i need Transit Visa for Hong Kong with Cathy Pacific from Karachi, Pakistan to Ningbo?

hi i would like to know about transit for Hong kong, i am planning to travel with Cathy Pacific from Karachi, Pakistan to Ningbo,i have to stay 5 to 7 hours in Hong Kong for my next flight to Ningbo, my flight route is Karachi to Hong Kong than Hong Kong to Ningbo, i have already Chinese Residence permit , so could you guide me do i need it or not ? if yes so please guide me which documents I need for applying for it. thanks

Yes, you need to apply for it in advance through Chinese embassy in Pakistan. Documents needed are your passport, application form with photo, air ticket and Chinese residence permit.
