F extension in Shanghai instead of in Beijing

I'm planning to extend my F (which expires in October) here in Shanghai, but the company that I work for is registered in Beijing. I've been interning in the Shanghai office since April. Will there be a problem extending my F in Shanghai? I could probably get a copy of the business license, but not the original one. And I've also heard that the extension in Beijing is a lot more troublesome.
Please advise.
Thanks!

I think it should be ok for you to extend your F in Shanghai if you have temporary residence permit there. You'd better visit the Shanghai PSB directly if the copy of the business license only is acceptable.
