beijing city center to airport early am

Question

International flight on ANA to Tokyo leaves at 8:30 AM.  What is the best way to get to the airport from Marriott City Wall?  What time should we leave for the airport?

If you are traveling alone, it is suggested to walk from the hotel to Jianguomen MTR Station to take subway line 2 to transfer to Airport Express Train at Dongzhimen Station. It can be the best way. In this way, you may depart around 05:30. If you are traveling in a small group, say 3 or 4 people, you can take a taxi to the airport directly. Well, you can leave for the airport a little earlier than 06:00.
