Contradictions between rat and rooster

I seem to get along too good to be true with a Rat Male (30.April.72), I am a Female Metal Rooster (09.Dec.81), but all reading seem to say that we shouldn't even bother trying...

Yeah, Chinese astrology shows that it cannot be good match between them. You get along well with each other by now, but if you are closer, you may find some problems. Anyway, everything has an exception. You may have a try~
