International flight transfer to domestic flight, both flights are Air China at Beijing airport

Please help, but only when you know exactly, not copy answers from Airport site informations.
I'm planning an international arrival into BJ's T3 and connecting to a domestic flight to Qingdao also in T3. Layover time is 4 hours and both flights are with "Air China". Do I have to claim the luggages first when I arrive and check-in again or Air China will transfer them directly to the domestic flight to Qingdao without me claiming the luggages ? Thanks.

Since you fly from Canada to China, in general, it is not necessary to claim your luggage in BJ airport and your luggage will be delivered to Qingdao directly.

Dave, you really need to ask when you check-in. Normally, they would check your luggage all the way through, but there's no way to know unless you ask.

Make sure you take time to see the seaweed infestation on the beaches while in Qingdao! It's looks like grass when the sea is calm.
