About:Lijiang Travel

i would like to know some question:- 1) is it many buses from kunming to lijiang normaly what time

2) is it enough the bus go to LJ on saturday? 3) please recomend the place to go let say i direct from kunimg town go to LJ town ( how many hour, any night bus it the road way was good/ bad ) 4) any cable car to go mountain. (what is the time cable car operation) 5) after visit the LJ where is the good place to go when i want return to kunming. 6) please advise mix.days for finish my destination. 7) is it near between old town lijiang and lijiang town and how many to visit famous place. t.q. thank you very much

Yes, there about 12 buses reaching LJ from KM and even on Saturdays. The timetable is 08:50, 09:30, 09:40, 10:30, 10:50, 11:20, 12:10, 12:50, 13:00, 13:30, 14:40 and 20:30.
The bus takes about 8 to 9 hours on the road and the road condition is good.
LJ does not have the cable cars. After LJ, Shuhe Old Town and Shangri-la area are suggested.
If you just want to travel to that place, I think about one week is suggested to stay there.
It is near between the old town and the city.

1) how much the bus ticket from kunming to lijiang town.
2) your reply answering is it Shuhe Old Town and Shangri-la area available take the cable car to the mountain? what is the time operation of the cable car?

The fare is around 202 to 229RMB per person.
For the cable car, what do you mean by cable car and what do you refer to the moutain?
To reach Shuhe Town, you can take a local taxi to reach there in about half an hour. To Shangri-la, the buses takes about 3.5 to 4 hours.
The Shangri-la is not at the LJ Town.
For LJ, you can live in local hostles such as International Youth Hostel LJ and Ancient Town International Youth Hostel.
