24 hour free visa in Guangzhou airport

Hello, I'm British and I'm travelling from Hanoi to Osaka via GZ and have a 21 hour layover. Is the visa-free service now available? How do I apply for it?
Also can I pay to leave my luggage in the airport so I can sightsee in the city freely?
Can I exchange Vietnam Dong to Yuan at the airport?
Thank you in advance for your reply!

The 72-hour visa free policy only is available in Beijing and Shanghai currently.
In GZ, if you do not leave the airport for no more than 48 hours, the vsia is not needed.
You can store your luggage in the airport and travel around the city freely. The money can be exchanged in the airport.
