About:Chinese Embassy in Colombia

US citizen applying for visa to China from Colombia

Greetings. I'm a US citizen staying in Medellin. Can I apply for a L type one while in Colombia? If so, is there a service in Bogotá or do I need to go there in person (or perhaps by mail)? Thanks in advance!

I think you can apply in Columbia. But it is generally required to provide your valid visa for Columbia excluding other documents. And mail application is refused by many Chinese embassies. I think you need to go to the embassy to apply in person.
