About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Do my visa have to be valid when I'm leaving a country?

Hi, I got a multiple entries for china and it expire October 8, so if I stay longer than that will I need to renew it? Because it said I had to enter the country by oct. 8 and the maximum stay is 60 days ( I will be there for a month ish only). Will it has to be valid meaning not expired by the time I get out or it will be ok even though its expired since I entered before the expiration date and will not go over the maximum stay? Any help will be appreciated!

What I meant by if I'm staying longer than that is: what happens if I leave after it expires but staying within the maximum stay limit and enter they'd the country before it expires.*

I was thinking of going there in September and leave mid or late October. Could someone please let me know if it will be ok or not? Thanks

Hi, oct. 8 is the time limit you can use it to enter mainland. So, if you enter before or on that date, you can stay full 60 days until, let's say, Dec.7. Don't worry, your planned visit is ok.

So, basically I'm good as long as I enter mainland china by the expiration date ?. How about Hong Kong though, do I need a separate one for that? Because I will be in Hong Kong after mine expires, will I be able to leave without having to renew it? May I ask if this is a legitimate one advise site or just people's opinion/knowledge/experience in general? Thanks

You needn't apply one for HK. You can stay there for 90 days at most with your passport.
