About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I must renew my passport before renewing my residence / working permits as and am wondering if there will be any issue with my current visas being in the old, no longer vaild passport.

If I carry both will this be fine?

Generally speaking, it's ok to have both in your hands. But I suggest you confirm this with the local entry and exit management bureau.
