About:Chinese Consulate in Auckland

china Visa for stay less than 72 hours, but leaving beijing by Cruise liner

Going on a cruise out f Beijing, flying from nz to beijing and staying less than 72 hours, staying two nights there. Do I need one for this, worried will be kept at airport

No, you need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance if you will leave by cruise. The 72 hour free transit is for air passengers only.
