About:Huangshan Mountain

We are planning a trip to Huangshan for a group of 6-8 friends.

We will be flying in to Hangzhou. Our trip will be 8-9 days beginning of September, and plan to visit Tunxi, Hongcun, Suzhou and Hangzhou. Can you please suggest a good planning of the trip in terms of no. of days at each place, and places of interest to visit at each destination. Thanks.

If I could know your entering city of China, I can give you more useful info. Anyway, you can have your trip in following sequence:

Suzhou - Hangzhou - Yellow Mountain (Tunxi) - Hongcun

It is suggested to stay in Suzhou and Hangzhou for four days in total. Then Tunxi deserves a two-day or three-day visit. Afterwards, you can stay in Hongcun for two days.

Suzhou: the Sisters Garden, Tongli Weter Town and Zhouzhuang Water Town are suggested.
Hangzhou: West Lake Scenic Area is most recommended. Besides, Mt. Putuo should not be missed either.

Thank you, Alisa, for your advice. We plan to fly Malaysia/Hangzhou/Malaysia. So we will proceed from Hangzhou to the destinations and then fly out of Hangzhou back home to Malaysia. Any further advice that you could give. Many thanks

Ok, then I suggest you go to Hongcun first. Then travel from Hongcun to Yellow Mount. After that, Suzhou can be followed and then Hangzhou. After a good visiting at Hangzhou, you can fly back.
