About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

The Chinese embassy in Seoul is closed on holidays, is that Korean or Chinese holidays?

Hi,
I am looking into traveling this summer and I will need to apply for a visa, but I work during the week. I read that the embassy in Seoul is closed on holidays, but I was wondering if that is Korean or? Also, if it is closed on Korean holidays, is there another way to apply for it, because I will not be able to go during its' hours of operation.
Thank you,
Trina

Hi, actually, it will closed on both Korean and Chinese public holidays. According to the notice of embassy's website, the consular department will be closed to the public on May 1st(Wednesday) and 17th(Friday),2013 for the holiday.
