Beijing to Shanghai by G-typeTrain?

I arrive in Beijing Int. Airport at 08:30 am and want to travel with high speed rail to Shanghai. If it is not possible to reach the reserved one (10:00 am), is it possible to take the next high speed railway (11:00 am)with the booked and paid ticket? The same thing for my way back to Beijing?
