Visiting Jingshan park 5/6 May.. is there another way to reach summit for an elderly guest, besides the steps?

I am afraid that you can only reach the summit from the steps.

Many elderly locals make the climb every day . Just go slow and see how you go . It is worth the climb for the view over the Forbidden City and much of Beijing .
