Applying Chinese Visa from Tokyo

Hi, Thanks a lot for all this useful information and the visa forms in ENGLISH...SO MUCH HELPFUL!
I am mexican citizen working in Tokyo holding a japanese ID card valid for 1 year until and I need to apply for tourist one entry visa for my trip to china, so can you advise me if:

1/ DO I need to call for appointment or is it free show up?

2/ I checked at the official site for chinese embassy and at last tab VISA application to print menu is available BUT as the web site and the forms are in chinese or Japanese and I cannot understand any of them, can I use the form in english available at your site? Is it the same one?
3/ for documents to bring along with application, as I am organizing my trip by myself and I have all my bookings confirmed and email confirmations on hand for flight, hotel and incountry transporation, I dont need to have an invitation letter or pass via a travel agency right?
Thnaks for all your wise advises back,
BR,
Roxana

Hi, the application forms on this site are the same as required by the embassy, so it is ok for application. But as I know, you should also apply through a travel agency in Tokyo if you hold Mexican passport. Appointment is not required. You'd better contact an agency for the latest information.
