About:Tianjin Transportation

Transport from hotel G in Beijing to Tianjin port

We will board the Royal Caribbean at Tianjin port on 8 October. What is the best way to get to the port from Hotel G? Would like to hear from other passengers who could share possible cost of taxi with us.

As for your case, I suggest you take a taxi from your hotel in Beijing to the local South Railway Station first, where you can take an intercity high-speed train to Tanggu. Upon your arrival at Tanggu, a taxi can take you to the port directly. It can be a relatively covenient way for you.

The taxi fare from your hotel to the train station is about CNY40, the train fare to Tanggu is CNY65.5 for a second class seat and CNY79.5 for a first class seat. And the taxi from Tanggu Railway Station to the port costs about CNY20 or a little more.

Hello, my husband and I are also going on the Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas on the 8th October. We are booked to stay at the Hotel Nikko Tianjin for the night prior to boarding. We have also been investigating the best way to get to the ship,there appears to be a lot of different views, some forums have said not to go to Tanggu Station as the Taxi Drivers know everyone iis going to the ship and the fares can be extortionate . We would be interested in sharing ground transport direct to the ship direct from Tianjin. Let me know what you think. Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth! Have you decided how you are going to get from Tanggu to Port. We are doing the same trip next week and are in the same dilemma!
