VISA Overstay help

Hey everyone. I have a fairly urgent question.

My Visa is valid until the 5th of March. I really want to leave for HK but I've been stuck on an island for the past 4 days and there has been no ferry to the mainland to get us off due to poor weather. I don't know what to do. If the weather is bad tomorrow there will be no boat. No boat means that I won't be able to get to HK until at least the 6th, which means I will have overstayed. This island is pretty small. It's part of Beihai city in Guangxi province and I'm not sure there is even a Police office. Is there any way a signed piece of paper from the boat office or something like that will enable me to get by at the HK border without problems?

Really don't know what to do and any ideas would be awesome. Cheers

I think you may ask the boat company to write something for you. If you have to go to Beijing first and then HK, please go to the Beihai Municipal Police Station to report your situation.
