About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can I fly from LA to Japan then Japan to Bejing for 3 days and back to LA from Bejing?

I am afraid that you can't enjoy the 72 hours visa free policy. The departure and destination is the same and it will be considered as a single trip. By the way, you don't leave for the third country or region.

I will be staying in tokyo for 3 days then fly to bejiing from tokyo. since my departure to bejing is from tokyo, do I meet the requirement?
