About:China Work Visa

If my visa comes from my spouse's employment, can I legally have a part-time job?

My wife will receive a Z-visa from her place of work, and I believe I will be able to obtain a visa through her. I am unsure that I will be able to work under this visa as well. I know I can do work where I am paid "under the table", but I am looking for a legal alternative.

You need to apply for the work permit. Proof of Relative Relationship e.g. Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate and an official letter from the company you work for.
