How can I find visa from tokyo to beijin?

I booked a flight and an hotel in beijin for one week trip starting from March,2.At embassy I'm told that I need a travel tour for a tourist visa because there is no more individual visitor visa.They sent me some place where I was asked a letter from my bank even when I show them my banking book and card,asked me to show an invitation letter from a friend living in china even when I show them an hotel booking and voucher.
My trip date is approaching,please help me.

Hi, it is true you have to apply through a travel agency in Tokyo for a visa to China. But as I know, invitation letter from China is not required if you have booked tickets and hotels for your stay in China. You may try to find yourself another travel agency there.
