do i need return tickets on l visa?

hi there i am an australian and i have already got an L visa for 1 month..but perhaps i would like to extend it for one more month and travel to india as well..i have only bought one way ticket,because i will still be travelling further..is it MANDATORY to have a return ticket to AUSTRALIA??

I searched on the internet and didn't found that L visa extension needs returning air ticket. What you need to prepare is your passport and visa, latest Registration Form Of Temporary Residence and two photos. It costs around CNY 160
