visa from laos or vietnam

Hello, I'm currently on my way to vientiane. I entered Laos with my Israely passport but I also hold an american one. Is there a differnce when getting it? another question- is it possible to get it from Hanoi?

I'm afraid you will not be able to get a visa there or Hanoi as a temporary visitor. I advise you use your Ieraely passport, as the fee may be less than that of the USA passport. You may need to enter mainland from Hk and apply there.
