getting visa in bangkok

Question

Hello. I am Czech citizen and I plan to visit China around April 2013 just for 10 days. First I ll travel to Thailand in February and my plan is to go to China then. For I am not sure jet if I ll really travel to China CAN I APPLY FOR TOURIST VISA IN BANGKOK?Thank you very much for your kind replay.

Hi, it may be difficult to get visa in bangkok as they ask for residence permit for application as foreigners there. I heard many were refused visa in last few months. BTW, a single entry China visa is valid for 3 months after issue date, so you can apply in Czech before leaving if you plan to visit China in April.
